Saltite was established in 2015 around a single, practical problem: Himalayan salt bricks and salt tiles do not behave like ordinary building materials. They are dense, mineral, moisture-sensitive and translucent — and general-purpose construction adhesives are not necessarily designed around those characteristics.
Instead of adapting a generic product, Saltite focused on a formula developed specifically for salt-wall installation applications: strong bonding on salt surfaces, a transparent finish that stays out of sight, and a 99% solvent-free composition suited to indoor wellness environments.
That focus is still the whole business. Saltite is not a general salt retailer — it is a materials brand for the people who actually build Himalayan salt walls, and everything we add to the range has to earn its place on a real job site.
